i was out cruising with my friends i was in my 85 trans am and my friend had his 91 corvette and my other friend was in his 94 fourmula. and i was supposed to meet up with them at a gas station when my friend with the vette calls me and said he just raced a talon tsi from a roll and beat it. so then i finally meet up with them and later on the next day the talon was saying that he beat my friend so they meet up and went again that night and the went 3 times and the vette killed him every time and my friend asked if he wanted to race me or my other friend in the fourmula and he said no he had enough but then the next night we saw him again and he must of found out that i only run a high 14 because he came fight for me then we got a light and i wasnt really ready i dident have time to bring the revs up so i got a horrible start but i managed to put about 2 lengths on him and it stayed that way to about 90 then he managed to close in to 1 length then we were doing about 105 and i shut down because there was a light up ahead. so then he goes after the fourmula and gets spanked from a roll and a stop it was great. and the best part about it is that he wants to run again. sorry about it being so long

once raced a taln tsi with the hughe waste gaste whistling and fart tip. It was from a roll doin 45 mph. I riped him and the 2 other eclipses that were with him. Then they did their usual r icer fly by.

 

high 15s? not this one. it was a front drive TSI with an upgraded turbo. probably an even match for the 85' TA.

Anyway, good kill, it's easy to make the talons fast though, careful if you try to race a 1g awd from a stop

He lists his 99 Cobra over here as pushing 8.6 psi but on the Mustang boards he lists it as pushing 10 psi and the power numbers ar ethe same on both sites. Gee I wonder.

 

Yea but I have a 10psi pulley on and I see 8.66psi at the engine. Gee seems like you're very smart. If I wanted to come off looking cool as you seem to think I am wouldn't it actually be better to put 8.6psi at making 408rwhp other than 10psi making 408rwhp? So smart here

Yea, I didn't think it would actually make LESS psi than it was supose to but after going through the intercooler, high flowing heads, and exhaust I guess I lost around 1.5psi. Thats why I'm putting in a 12psi pulley monday. :lala:

Well if the guy who raced him runs a 15.1@90mph and he put 2 car lengths on the Talon then that tells you something. But who knows, street racing and drag racing are totally different things.

Seriously guys.. how do you like it when two cars are driving 105mph between lights when you're near them? Not saying that they'd do this with people around..but that's what Snake is thinking I guess. After picking up dinner last night this guy on a motorcycle flew right past me doing at least 100 in a 55mph zone when I was doing 50. I was just picturing the guy wiping out or hitting my car. That's scary. The momentum of a 3500 lb car, or two of them, driving 100mph is too. Remember the kid that killed his own mother?

Try doing a search here on his nick name..I did.. You'ld be suprised how many threads that got closed that he was involved in, never mind the fact that most of the reasons for them being closed had something to do with him. He asked me himself to find his on the boards...so I did.
