me vs a sprayed GT

my friend and I rolled into a parking lot with a bunch of nice cars. We were offered a race by a '96(?) GT that had a 75 shot of Nitrous and that was it (so they say). We ran from a stop and from a roll. Both times I had traction issues but beat them 4 or 5 car lengths in the end. It was my first race with the blower, so The guy seemed nice too.

thanks! I just got the blower on today, but with my 200 lb buddy in the car and small/dirty filter, I got a 13.05 on a g-tec. So, likely with no practice I have a 12.85. I am hoping with a different filter, tuning and practice to get 11's. I hit a 12.9 before the blower.

yeah, it doesn't sound *too* insane to me at a mere 12.8 compared to what I have done to it.... I know I need to practice launching BIG time. I dont' know the hp rating at all ... shoot, I don't even have a gauge to monitor the boost rating! I am aiming to have it possibly dyno tuned shortly, and I know that you can easily see 20-50 hp extra just from tuning this thing to its optimum performance.

I am guessing I was seeing 320 hp before hand with my ZZ4/stock TPI, headers, other stuff and I think with 10-12 boost, it should knock at around 60-70% increase. Sooo, I am thinking somewhere around 500 hp at the crank.
