Chech out this crock of VTEC crap.

From racingflix.com

I was crusing around the town in my Integra Type R and I noticed what pulled next me was a C5 vette. We came upon a light, he looked over and revved so I did to. I revved about 5200 rpm, light went green launced in VTEC. We were dead even off the line. Got into 2nd pulled a car, got into 3rd pulled car1/2. In 4th we hit about 130 mph and still had him about 2 1/2 cars.

And another from the same guy.

I was Coming home from school and a old school Chevelle(VERY LOUD) was on my *** like he didn't give a sh*t. The road was clear ahead of me and I pulled to the right lane to let him pull up next to me. We were going about 45 mph roll, I kept it in 3rd and went from a three honk. As the 3rd honk hit, I slammed it into 2nd gear and my boost just went crazy and smoke the chevelle bad. Well I hit 120 mph and I looked back to see if he was still on the gas and so he was and we went about until 140mph then he finaly break and so I took my victory about 6, 7 cars with still 2000 more RPM in 5th gear to go. At the next light he couldn't even look over at me cause he looked was so pist. Yet another V-8 to add to my list.

This dick can be found at Racingflix.com. in the kills section.

Here is his mods:
2.0FulleybuiltTurbochared LSVTEC motor.
LS Block sleeved 84mm
P&P 5 angle valve job Type R head
fully custom internals
T61 Turbonetics turbo kit

It's a nice site with awsome vids. need a name and password. so much bull**** in the forums though.

firebirdkid read the rules first b4 your thread man! this has nothing to do with thirdgen fbody orientation, the only boards that allow some non thirdgen fbody talk is in the regional boards, so make sure you read and understand the rules first b4 you post

ok if those are his real mods

I wouldn't be shocked if he could pull on a c5

maybe not as much as he said unless the C5 was a LT1 or couldn't drive

but just because it is a honda doesn't mean the guy is a dick.... nor does it mean the car can not move

a T61 isn't a small little turbo made for small boost
plus with a ported head, having the block worked, sleaved and having internal work done I wouldn't be shocked if he was pushing somewhere around the 350-450 hp range

but then again if this guy is lying to us (and you can't just assume that because he drives a honda) then yeah that sux and I would say for the most part he is a dick

I knew a guy with a VTEC Civic that had a turbo on an otherwise stock engine. He ran a 13.9@101. Don't know what kind of turbo or how much boost he was running. But on an engine with internal mods and head work I could see this happening. Especially when you consider the average idiot behind the wheel of the C5.

honda's a little girl cars, vettes are old man cars....

when was the last time you saw a biker or a ripped guy drivin a honda...no, they all look like women...

when was the last time you saw a young guy or smart woman driving a vette...no, no one that could drive them to their potential can afford them...

(pls note that this IS a blanket statement, i know there are exceptions)

I'm still trying to find the in those threads

He probably didn't beat those cars as bad as he said but like stated above a T61 isn't exactly a small turbo. I'd be a little hesitant to throw up the flag

I didn't even think there WERE any non-LS1 C5s. Weren't they introduced into production after all new F-bodies became LS1 cars in '98?

C5's only have the LS1; until the introduction of the LS6 in the Z06.
