My money is the LG4, cause the 240sx w/o a Slyvia engine swap is just **** slow. Even a 95 SE would probally hit low 16's I would guess.

You didn't mention whether the Nissan has a manual or automatic transmission. I think if it's an auto, the LG4 will definitely win. And if it's a manual, I'd still give it to the LG4 because of the mods.

The Z28 should take the 240. A auto with the 4 banger is a bad combo for sure.

In one of the magazines, might have been Turbo or Sports Compact, a year or so ago they did an article, where they bought a ruined 240SX(blown engine), think it was a 89-90(somewhere in there) and dropped in a Slyvia, with a few free mods, and a bigger intercooler, they hit 12's with it. They got it into the 12's for 2 grand, excluding cost of car($800). But they had to do some rewiring and fix the car up(was broke ***), so for anyone that can't drop in an engine on their own, as most people, let alone import owners, it would cost more than 3 grand, but still a decent price for a 12sec car that is full interior and weighs more than the avg 1500 lbs import running 12's.

Like many other cars including some F-body's, the 240SX isn't fast. It has potential to be fast just like any other car with enough money put into it. Stock for stock though I don't think that 240SX has a prayer against the LG4.

Just to give everyone a update as to what happend, you guys where right. they went from a stop, lg4 lost traction and the 240 got a bit of a jump but as soon a the lg4 got trackion it just flew past him. my friend with the nissan was in shock he never thought that my aother friends camaro was fast just because its such "low teck"lol, the good thing is he has respect for the older fbodys and want race any till he gets him new engine, lol.

sorry about the spelling i had to go so i was typeing faster the i can. i'll make it more clear then, my friend raced my other friend with a 240zx from a stop, the deal was i honk and they go. so i honk and they r off, the lg4 spun to much and the 240zx had about half a car on the camaro, but as soon as the lg4 got its traction it just past the 240zx with no problem, end result was my friends camaro won by 2 cars by the time they shut down.
