who would win 89 RS vs. 89 RS
ok i'm pretty sure that i'll hand my friends *** to him but for some reason he thinks that he can win. i have an 89 RS with a 305 thats all stock except for a flowmaster 80's series muffler on it with a 700-r4, and my friend has an 89 rs with a 2.8 mpfi with a 5 speed thats completely stock. he thinks that just because he has a 5 speed that he'll beat me. and yes i know RS's arent the fastest things on earth but i'm working on getting a TPI setup. so anyway who'll win

Your 305 TBI will beat a 2.8MPFI.
Although, you'd beat him alot more if you unchoked your TBI a little.
-Open element "non drop" filter
-TBI spacer
-Aftermarket plenum
You'd wake that weak *** factory unit up with those simple things. You might not want to go thru the hassle of a TPI conversion once you see that TBI can be made to flow significantly better.

Anyway...the LO3 should win, if you lose, well, um, I'd drive the car off of a cliff
