Does anybody know if we have to worry about emissions when our cars get to be 25 yrs old or qualify as antique vehicles. Hope not, it be nice to keep mine looking good until I can through in something unrestricted by the law. Right now mines feels slow but still has low miles, maybe I'll spend the money on a new motor in about 50k.

I guess I could have posted this somewhere else, well how do you think I'd do against a taurus sho with the V-8.

 

To my knowledge the SHO only came with a H.O. 3 Liter and a 5pd. Unless someone dumped an *** load of money into one. Car has to be 20 years old, so 1983 or older. Only reason I would get an '83 Z-28 with CFI would be for cheaper insurance.

 

Actually the SHO's later than 95 got a very small displacement v8 (something like 3.8-4.0 liters) and run slower than the 6cly yamaha based 5spd sho's from the early 90's.
