70 Dodge Dart vs my 91 Formula

The guy around the corner bought a Dodge Dart, about 1970 or so, it looks exactly like a Plymouth Duster, pretty cool car. He just put a 340 motor in it and we are going to race at the 1/8 milie track near here. Im sure he's got more HP but I dont know if he can put it to the ground. My car has run a best 8.68 in the 1/8 with a 60' of about 1.96. What do you think? can I take him?

Man that depends. I watched a 340 Duster run high 11's today at the track. Of course he did have slicks and who knows what done to it. I'd just say try it and see what happens. Worst you can do is lose and everyone on this site has done that before I'd say at least once...

when you have a v6... once isn't enough... lol
but i had some good wins...
anyways...
ya give it a try...
its worth the rush...
you lose... then you add stuff to your car to take him...
you win... then your ego just grew a few inches
