A co-worker just bought a 96 Cobra. The car is a clean stock low mileage unit. He says he has been out looking for me. How fast is this car and how will I run against him. My car- 86 T/A, GM PP 300 hp 350 with pocket ported gasket matched heads, comp cams 268xe cam, gasket matched zz4 intake, tweaked Q-jet, dual snorkel air cleaner, K&N, Edelbrock TES and cat. back, no cat, prof. built 700r4, 2000 stall converter, 3:42 posi, Eibach Prokit & KYB struts and shocks, Comp. Eng. sfc, Lakewood lca & panhard bar, GTA rims with B.F. Goodrich Comp T/As. No track times on either car. Both are so-so drivers.

 

The car should be low 14s high 13s in stock trim. It is rated at 305hp and with the low mileage should be well kept. I think it would be a good run between the two of you.
