Raced a WS6 Trans Am last night...

New yellow firehawk.... Dude he left me like I was standing absolutely still.... And that was from a 40mph roll! He peeled out for 20 feet and just was GONE! :hail:

He sure is lucky you didnt put your foot on the gas. It is fun to get raped by American muscle. I once raced a Z-06 just to hear the beauty of the LS6 and see his gorgeous tail lights. That sight still brings tears to my eyes

Before I bought my LS1 I thought the same thing about LT1s when they would assrape me. No longer do I have to be scared though. No more No more, lol. By, the way, I am on my way to mid 12's with my newly aquired mods since my last 13.2.

why? unless it was something out of the ordinary i wouldn't race it if i knew i would lose. let me explain, you will put wear on your car, get a chance at a ticket, lose a lot more gas racing then you would NOT racing, and uh, you could injure yourself or someone else.

not to say i don't race because i do and when i get my car back, im sure ill race a lot of cars. l03 vs firehawk is a bit lopsided if you ask me, that whole 16 sec engine vs a 12 second engine (with traction). i dont doubt he left you standing there.

I bet he raced you because of the racing stripes. I would love to lose to a new Firehawk. I raced a Viper once. G0ddamn, he wasn't even trying and I couldn't keep up.

I dont agree with only racing cars you know you are going to win against. That takes the whole point of racing away. The whole point of racing someone is to find out who is faster, if you already know then the race is pointless. Either way, win or lose, it's still fun.

If it was yellow it was an LT1 car, not an LS1 car...

Actually... The 2002 is not a 35th anniversary it is a collectors edition firebirds didnt come out in 67 like the camaro, and they also were not firehawks, they did not make yellow firehawks that I know of.

What are you talking about? 2002 is the 35th anniv. of the Firebird. The Firebird did come out in 67, I think you are confusing things with the Trans Am.

Yes there were yellow Firehawks BTW, early LT1's, either 93, 94, or 95....

Correct but the topic is about a yellow Firehawk, not the 35th collector edition.

Uh well this is a board for "Theoretical and STREET Racing". And how about for the fun of it?? You risk all the things you mentioned every time you do it, but, you still do it. It's an awesome rush street racing. I'm not saying I've seen it all by any means, but, in 3 years I have never seen anyone get hurt. As long as you don't get a hair brained 16 year old with a car he shouldn't have yet(like an LS1) that he can't handle and does somthin stupid.

First I doubt an lo3 at full throttle will put any more wear than normal on it, the ticket is unlikely since it is hard to even tell when it is racing, the gas thing goes back to the first point, and injuring yourself again not likely in a car moving that slow.
