Was out tonight for a little drive as I do when trouble found me first in the form of a Paramount Performance modded XK8 and later a silver M3.

XK8s are 10 a penny but this is the first modded one I've run into. The guy wouldn't race as he had his kid in the car but he gave me some sound samples before we parted and went on my merry way.

M3 guy flew past me and stayed in front of me then gunned in. I put the foot down almost immediatley and he lifted off. I cruised past him then he sat on my bumper so I put the foot down and so did he but then lifted off again I don't know what the he11 was going on there.

Nice night though, even if I didn't get any good runs.

 

isnt that the version with like 470 hp and over 400 torque?
i saw a car show that tested one, it also weighs like over 4,000 pounds.

 

we dynoed a new M3 and it made like 290 to the rears, sorry for the poor photo quality, we actually dynoed it a few times and it made more power the more broke in it got but BMW actually has a limiter on the engine when they are under a couple of thousand miles that slowly releases a few more RPM to you every few more thousand miles.
