2 Mustangs in 1 night ;)

I have been seeing this white Mustang GT (99, as I found out tonight) With aftermarket ground effects & hood, and the car is practically on the ground.I caught him at a set of lights, I threw him a rev and dropped her down to Drive (not overdrive), stalled up to 1500 rpms and when the light changed I launched and pull him by atleast 3 car lengths and he couldn't do nothing to catch me.

The next light we rolled from about 20 mph and I pulled him out alittle over 2 car lengths...

Then we rolled from 50mph, he got the jump, pulled past my door but I quickly pulled right back up and it was about dead even to 85 when I started inching forward.

He was actually really cool, we stopped and talked for a bit and he pulled out some time slips and I was shocked to see what I did. 14.6's are what he was running. Makes me feel good that I probably won't be dissapointed when I'm ready to throw her at the drag strip.

Then about 20 minutes later, the kid in the white Mustang was in such disbelief that from a set of lights I out ran his friends GT, he actually went home and got his 92 GT 5 speed. LOL
He caught me at the same lights, we launched and I did the same thing to him as the white Mustang at the lights. Then we rolled from a set of lights and I could only pull a fender on him.
Fun night for me, glad to see I don't have much competition from the Mustangs unless I run into a Cobra or Saleen.

My car ran flawlessly all night, I had my top end power back, but on the way home it started to run like a dog from a 40mph WOT mash and I could smell something burning again. It's almost like this problem comes and goes. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and replace the O2 & Cat

Good kills. However, I wouldn't get too cocky. There are plenty of Mustangs (non Saleens or Cobras) that run 13 seconds or quicker in the 1/4. You'll meet one sooner or later.

I agree as I dont have a Cobra or a Saleen, and run in the 13s! As a matter of fact I am just a poor High School kid with a limited budget paying for two cars and I am in the 13s! Just a heads up, but not only Saleens and Cobras are pulling 13s!
