Finally got the Firebird running... and got a good kill!!

Today was the day we got my Firebird back on the road, and she roars like a beastie...LOL (C'mon, it's only a little 2.8 V-6). For those who are wondering why my '91 has a 2.8, it's because my 3.1 bit the dust and I got the 2.8 from my '88 parts car. The 2.8 has 3.1 bored out heads, new gaskets etc...

Anyways, my and a few buddies went on US-50 to see who could outrun who. Here is the run down of all the cars...

Me - '91 Firebird 2.8 Auto
Josh - '94 or '95 Miata 4cyl 5-speed
Mike - '95 Buick Lesabre 3.8
Brian - '02 Cavelier 4cyl auto

I ran against Josh in the Miata, he got me at the line but I pulled on him. He has a bad clutch, so I'm guessing thats why I won.

I ran against the Cavelier, I got him at the line and kept pulling.

Then I raced the Buick, I got Mike on the line and he kept pulling from me. He got me by about 10 car lengths. For a big Grandpa car that damn thing has some *****. I finally maxed out at around 115 and he still kept going.... Oh Well!!

Just wanted to share, Thanks, Firebirdjoe
