just out enjoying my first ride with a T top car and i see this supra the older one like 88 89 i think, with the turbo badge on the back painted red, lowered, rimz, body kit, it had it all. (very nice car) anyway for about 15 min of him tailing me i see a light so i slow down so everyone could go though it and me catch the red. so we lines up and gives it one hard rev. i just smile, drop to N and give it a couple revs, then light turns green. he gets the jump on me because i take off slow so i wont spin. by this time he has 2 cars on me, and i go WOT, my neck goes right back and tire still spin a bit, next thing u no i fly past him like he was not moveing. and just kept going i let off and by that time i had about 7 cars on him hard to tell but alot anyway. light in front turns red, and he got beside me and is like holly $hit your car is fast and asks me if i sprayed. i was like nope his friend then goes ya right your full of ****. so i say what ever and turn up my music. light goes green he goes at it again, i just let him go because my turn was comeing up. i'm luvin this power!!!! but i'm hateing on it for eating my money for gas

 

Good kill man, I wonder what they run stock? I was theinking about getting one of the new ones (mark IV's). Still thinking about it. I know, I know....its an import. Thinking I'm getting rid of the GTA though, not a chance in hell. I just figured a VR4 or a Supra and I think I might go with a supra. Oh well, anyway, nice kill, later

 

ya i would get a supra no questions asked they are nice cars plus they can be made really fast. import or not supras are amazing cars.

what is your new car and what mods do you have done? I think I remember you having a 305 firebird at one point. What do you got now?

 

i wish i knew all it has, its a 350 with all performance internals> cam,lifts, ect >thats what 3 mechanics told me. also u could just hear it when the car is on. what i no it has , holley contender intake, holley 750 carb, headers, ture dual exhaust, and no smog stuff. i cant wate to head to track and see what she gots, shes the fastest car i ever been in. oh it a 83 z28

 

nice man...i used to have an 83 Z28 and I miss it alot. I wrecked it on the ice back in March. But hey, now I got a GTA which is a hell of alot faster so it's not so bad. Good luck at the track. I'd love to hear what she runs being able to spank a supra. Alot of those cars are pretty quick. I hate imports but that is one car I will always respect. Later.

Yeah, the 80's supras were nothing special. Mid 15's at best with the turbo models. N/A were even slower.

Supras really didn't get fast til the early/mid 90's.

 

oh found out something new today, my tranny is not stock, its a th350 tranny, i got all the fluid changed at the tranny shop and they told me what i had. man this is amazing i dont have to mod anything
