Yesterday My little sister's boyfreind shows up with a mint 89 iroc converitable. It has 66,000 original miles. His parents bought it new in 88.They are extremly wealthy.

Anyway we where going down the highway. And like 5 people tried to race use.He was cruisin at like 90mph and the motor was revving around 2 grand.I am pretty sure it had 2:73's.The motor was a TBI 305 with a 700r4 trans.I love that car so much.If it had an L98 in it it would easily be my dream car.

Was it just the car looking as good as it does.Or do people alwasy try to race third gens?I think it would be fun.But also annoying.

I will get pics soon.

I don't get races often enough

It seems tough to find someone at a light around here. On the weekends, I can cruise up to the local spots and find races, but everyone there acts like it's the Fast & Furious instead of just being out to have a good time.

I got lots of races from a roll when my car looked stock because it's so quiet, but after putting the cowl hood on it, hardly anyone wants to race anymore From a stop, it's always been nearly impossible to get anyone to run because the cam shakes the whole car

well i have only had my camaro on the road for 2 freaking days because things keep breaking however with my true duals and chambered mufflers ive come to realize i cant make a 10 minute drive after midnight without some punk in a civic trying to race me. They always seem to want to do it in the stupid most obvious places too.

Never. Last time I raced someone on the street was in my cousins 3.1, 5 speed corsica. It was agaisnt a 81 chevy truck with no hood and a tunnel ram. Heh, little 3.1 busted up that truck bad. No one wants a piece of my bird or my truck and I only race to the speed limit on the street so they would win in thier mind at least.

Occasionally I get someone who thinks he's got *****. More often than not I'll pass. It ain't worth the gas anymore, but moreso a waste of my time.

I get challengers just about all the time. Most of the time they are either MUCH to slow to bother with, or so far out of my league its not even funny.

I hardly get challenged by mustangs, or camaros, but I've gotten it from Supras, 300zx, civics...blah blah.

Got challenged by a Pontiac Sunfire once, one of the few races I've accepted, that didn't turn out too well for the Sunfire.

Always, I only drive it on weekends , and I always get atleast one person to race me, and its usually either a stupid civic that I will smoke bady, or a car that will rape me like an SS chevelle or something, I think its because I am running headers into glasspacks, you can hear me rumbling from like 12 blocks away.

I get a few races but I only really go stop light. There are a lot of cops, and you have to know the spots around here. But I think I get the most races when its rainy. I don't go, but they are think they are tough with their front-wheel drive, traction ...

I've had more people try to race my Iroc than the RS. I guess its because the Iroc looks pretty good as is loud while the RS is...well not. I usually have to pick a race to get anything if I'm in RS.

When I had my 85 Iroc I got a few races, but I would have to beat the r^icers away with a stick when I would go through their hangout with my cut-out open. I loved that sound. My mighty 305 drowning out the many angry colonies of trapped african killer bees.

In my Truck it happens fairly often, but only with other trucks. In my Trans-AM it doesn't happen to often but when it does it's always some retarded punk in some trashed out pile of crap. Either import or domestic.

My thirdgen is clean and sounds pretty mean. Although the last time I took it out I did get messed with by three cars on the same stretch of highway. A Mustang GT (SN95 style), A V-6 4th Gen Camaro and something else that was uninteresting to say the least. I spanked all three from a roll pretty hard. And my car is still close to stock.

Normally though, get messed with more in my truck than in my car.

The car is stock besides slowmaster.(I mean flowmaster)Exhaust. It sounds good.Just can't back it up.I took my digital cam over to his house.Way to dark to get pics.I have to do it soon though. They put the car in storage more than it gets drove.

I drive a 69 chevy c-10 long bed.I have daul exhaust with a cam.It sounds good.It isn't loud though. Not much louder than stock. That cam gives it away big time when the whole truck is shaking.I don't get messed with to often.I have to try and race to get any.

Everyone and their grandma gives me a hard time in the Iroc. I get guys in big lifted trucks trying to out-run me to girls in their stock RSX's.

Now that I'm driving an 02 GT, I've had it for nearly 2 months and not 1 race yet.

I think my Iroc-z is way more intimidating looking & sounding than the GT. Go figure
