OK, I was on my way to work on Sat and a 24v V6 Stealth flew by me at about 85 or so. So after I got throught traffic, he was about 150 yards ahead of me. At about 60 I gunned it and was flying up on him. At about 100 yards back, I heard him gun it. (A fart cannon said so) So at about 95 I'm at his bumper, then at 110, he's in the dust. But at 115 or so, he was crawling back up, so I shut her down and he did the BS flyby.
Not bad for a out-of-tune LB9.

Sounds like it is custom chip time.

heres 2 dyno runs back to back with my car. the first is with the VSS connected. the 2nd without.
ive always believed that the TBI for some strange reason behaved diffrently with lower power with the VSS disconnected.... i used a free dyno day to prove it..

i know what you mean...one night i was racing a prelude on the freeway, from 60 all the way to about 125 i was killing him...then the speedlimiter kicked in....and he started to catch up! good thing the cutoff was coming up so we both shut down. Any longer and he would have past me.

I got the impression that he was talking about unplugging everything. What is the differences in speed limiters between the T5 and the auto? I know I cannot just unplug anything to make my speedo go away(T5).Originally posted by MrDude_1

He did back to back dyno runs. The actual power isn't too different, but the second one is WAY choppy compared to how smooth the first curve was. Something caused it and I'de like to know why.Originally posted by brodyscamaro

there are 1 or 2 plugs to the 700r4. Originally posted by ShiftyCapone

one is the VSS (on cars that dont have speedo cables)
the other is the TQ converter lockup.
having both unplugged will only stop it from locking the converter. it will not effect the way it shifts. the only ECM controlled part is the converter lockup.
to make your speedo go away, unplug the VSS or the speedo cable.

Allah disapproves of evading the filters! Yaweh doesn't like it much either. There is logic behind filtering the big G though as it led to religious debate somewhere along the way. This drifted off topic.
