Caddy got me.

So, I leave my house to go downtown and I stop at the light to get on the freeway. Not much traffic out on Sunday. Anyway this is a double left turn and it goes for a third of a mile or so then merges on to I-25. So I'm sitting there and a caddy comes roaring up next to me(I'm in the far left lane and he is on my right side). By the way he was driving up to the light I could tell he was in a hurry. I look over and it is a black two door caddy with a northstar badge on it. So I think, I'll just punch it and beat him to the merge point. Light turns green I turn and punch it. He must of had the same idea cause he flew by me and just kept on walking away. He got to the merge point about 5 car lengths before me. I did not think the northstar had that much power to move a heavy caddy like that. Oh, I was in my 92 bird(mods in sig). Let that be a leason well learned.

Laters,
Conrad

Not low to mid 14s, but high 14s to low 15s. They are quick but not that quick...

Oh yeah reminds me of when the Caddy STS outran the SRT-4, and yes the SRT-4 was racing as he spun slightly off the line, and spun a little into 2nd. The 2nd race the SRT stayed ahead by about half a car but in the first race the addy had him by a car length or so.

I recently saw a CTS on a autohauler with big Baer Brakes(13" maybe/4 piston), a 6spd and an LS1. Had a factory window sticker on it too but I oculdn't read it. Too high up. Anyone heard anything about this?

Thats the new 2004 CTS V-Series. It's got a 400hp LS6 out of the Corvette Z06. Does 0-60 in like 4.7!

Well the C5 was such a nice car, why change it up a whole bunch? IT does have a very different look then the C5. And the new C6 will be 200lbs lighter then the current C5. The base C6 will be faster then the C5's Z06.

caddies are quick, like most top end granny cars, my friends 96 3.8 bonneville would rip my old lg4 up, the l69 however .

Twobirds:was it the 104th onramp? Did you see what they added there?

No, it was on the 84th going south. And they have those same dam lights as on 104th. Those suck. When those lights start operations you'll be damed trying to get up to speed to get on I-25. Someone will get rearended and get killed.

Bigals87z28 as I remember it was the Eldarado and I'm sure it had STS on it. It looked just like the one you posted.

I don't even think my forumla 350 would of took it out.

Laters,
Conrad

if it said STS on it, thats not a eldarado, its a seville. The Eldarado, it would say something like ETS. Either way, they are pretty fast for a big car.

Tony, I also posted cars above too, one of the XLR and one of the Eldarado. He said a 2dr car, and thoes are the only 2 cars that caddy has made in a long time(less the alante) that he could have raced.
