5 hours, 6 races, and I'm 5-1

Saturday night was fun.

First was a newer Tiburon GT. I watched him come out of a gas station and he pulled up behind me at a light. I accelerate to the limit as normal, and he's riding my bumper just waiting to go. I'm in gas mileage mode, and don't care to run. After a mile or two, the road opens up to 2 lanes, and he nails it going by me. I just follow him at my pace. I see he's getting onto a major highway with a LONG straightaway ramp. I quickly get in behind him, and he nails it from a 15MPH roll. I spun through first, and shortshifted 2nd. I rolled into the throttle and caught up fast. We're at 70 and merging on the highway. I stay right on his back bumper all the way to 125 when he hits the brakes for the offramp. I follow and line up next to him at the light. We both turn left and nail it at the same time. I spun so bad at the top of 1st going sideways I nearly hit him (Kuhmos). Went even further sideways into 2nd as the car kept spinning. I had about 2 cars on him by the time I caught traction and pulled another 2-3 by the top of 2nd when I let off. He didn't want anymore

Second was later on that night, coming back from holiday shopping. Some ***** in a newer 00+ Mustang GT paces me on the highway and keeps revving in neutral, and hopping the car. He's a manual trans, and has at least an H-pipe and a catback cuz its loud! I roll down the window and yell "On 3!", he nods. I honk 1, 2, and he jumps me! I nail it and by the top of 2nd I've pulled even, and gain another 3 cars by the top of 3rd at 125. He catches up and attempts a fly-by! The passenger waves at me! I nail it again and manage to catch up after 3 or 4 seconds and proceed to take it up to 140 in OD just to rub it in. He never caught back up

Later that night I went out to pick up dinner at Wendy's when a Fast & Furious poster goes flying by. A newer GTI and what used to be an Integra I think? I paced the GTI to see if he was willing, he paces me and keeps looking over. I drop it in 2nd and murder him and his buddy behind him REALLY bad. Hardly worth mentioning. He comes flying up on me flashing his lights and honking his horn so I slow down. He motions me to pull over so I oblige. He says he's got a friend with a Camaro that I should run. I agree without question and he calls up his bud. 30 minutes later a 97 Z28 pulls up. After a quick chat I find out he's got no cat, catback, CAI, and a Meziere on the stock 3.42s with a 6 speed. He commented the lope of my idle All I told him is that it's not stock. Apparently he didn't care, as he "never has trouble with those cars". He wants to go from a stop over behind the local ice rink where there is a good long deserted stretch of road. I follow over. The guy in the GTI flags as the Z28 does his best John Force... His hands go down and the Z28 bogged - I shut it down at 60 with a HUGE lead and kept on going.

On my way back to Wendy's I came up behind an older 5.0 notch that sounded mean and looked the part with some big ol tires in back. I kept hopping my car behind him and he eventually bit from a 40 roll. He took me by a few buslengths when I shut down at 80 . I couldn't catch up to him to see what all he had done. Sounded like a 10 second car easy, and took off like it too.

That's more action in one night than I've had in nearly a month!

My fingers hurt...

Hey good runs. You must have spun worse then you metioned to only beat that tiburon by 2 or 3 cars with your mods. Those things are a joke. You could make the playoffs with that record

That's a record I would be proud of. You can't win them all. Strangely enough I've been getting alot of action. Ever stranger- I've been winning alot with it. Even on takeoff.

Factory QJet, tuned of course.

Shifty - I beat him by 5 cars or so from a slow roll to the top of 2nd. 15-75 with a 5 car lead spinning through 1st and part of 2nd. I need new DRs, these Kuhmos are killing me.

I ran a newer Prelude last night and killed him from a 40MPH roll. Ever since I put the Mufflex on this thing has been a magnet.

opposite effect for me

My car looks bone stock, with the exception of BFG drag radials mounted on the factory wheels. I haven't had one street race since I dropped a 408 in this past summer. I think it is because of the 4" Mufflex exhaust - my cars bark is actually meaner than its bite.
