ok guys. ive got an 85 berly.(lg4, headers, catback,some cam i had in my shed(comp cam)not a high power monster. anyways theres this idiot that live in my town with a late 80s 5.0.it looks good, an hes got a runkety-runk cam. anyways this twit is always reving it up going thru the supermarket lot, gas station, etc.hell get near you an rev an pop the clutch etc. if your in anything that looks like its a sports car, but ive never messed with im cause im not racing thru town.well, last nite he was at the gas station leaving as i was.he saw me behind him an hammered it.i said screw this.......punched it, caught his azz after a couple hundred feet, then passed him.(id been watching him an knew he had to have a sucky gear ratio cause he never has a good launch.probly bought the biggest cam he could get an didnt do nothing else, but apparently he cant drive or tune his car either)saw him tonite an he didnt even bother me for once.loser, all that cam and posing and he got beat by a high 14 car.(frickin 5.0s look like escorts on steroids anyway)

What a moron. That reminds me of a guy I had auto tech with in high school he had like an 85 mustang threw on a few bolt ons and it was quick then he decided to go with a huge cam. He had no low end and I imagine he was probably losing alot of hp due to coil bind. Surprised he didnt ruin his motor. Lucky for him his brother was a real motor head. he change the heads and got the car geared right and the damn thing ran low 12's. Some people.

 

Sounds like he has no clue... put a cam in nothing else, and it will hurt the car. And if he beats on it, who knows what kind of power its down... Good kill.
