my friend drives a 98 countour SE, 2.5l dohc. 170 hp stock, he's got some ignition mods and a fixed up throttle body. my car is an lo3, i've got full exhaust and a open element. 200 hp estimate.

anyway we drive around a little waiting to catch a light, finally do. i thought he'd kill be off the line b/c of my 2.73 peg. But the 255+ ft/lbs helped me out and i jumped to about 5 feet on him, kept putting distance between us till about 70 mph at which point we pulled over and had a little talk till he had to work. i was about 4-5 cars up on him at 70mph, and still putting distance between us. I thought it'd be much closer, but i pretty much owned him. fun stuff.
