I was at the hot illegal racing spot by my house which happens to be in the hood (DETROIT) MI, And for the most part i was watchen a bunch of street races. And then i had to go to the car to get my girl her sweater, and when i stood up there was a guy askin me if i wanted to race for fun, i asked what he had he told me a 88 i-roc so i said ok il race for fun. I ended up beatin him by a car or so to about 70 mph nuttin special alls he had was flows. But heres wher it gets good, Some Colored guy seen me race and asked me if i wanted to runa 96 impala ss, OHHHHH LT1 car ME SOOOO Scared, Dared ask what he had done he told me all kinds of **** stroked, heads, cam all kinds of stuff and then he opened his hood. I got the biggest smile, it looked bone stock and as if no one ever took a powerwasher to it or even cleaned it. So i said ya, he wanted to race for 300 i dident have that much so we agreed on 100. So i heated em up my nitto's which are on the back of MY TPI (305) 5 Spd as he did the same. Well when the light went we were off he jumped outta the hole cause i amaturly dropped the clutch tooo high but eventually caught up high second and passed him winning 100 bucks and as for all those mods i just think he was a silly brotha tryin to be tough in front of the crowd.
