Don't expect a lot. My friend with a "hooked up" LG4, headers, cam, Edlebrock Intake, 600cfm carb and 3 angled valve job heads is only turning low 17's here(low 16's@sealevel).
Chevy high did My generation Camaro years back when stock it was a 17 second car.

dude no offence but your buddies lg4 must suck bad to be running that slow with those mods. i had (untill lately a lady pulled out in front of me insurance totalled it) a lg4 but it was built pretty well and it was running low 14's and that was with the stock 2.73's.

most Lg4 cars ran in the mid to low 16's stock. The CHP camaro had like 200,000 miles also. The 17sec cars you see are old and ragged out or completely out of tune.

Or like the 82 model that actually were 17 sec cars :/ When I got mine, it probably would have ran a 20 second pass it was so worn out. Got it down to a 15.21 @ 90 with headers, cam, intake, 3.42 gears and a bad tune on the carb. Probably would have ran 14.90's after messing with the carb plus a couple other little things.

None taken phoenix305, its not my car anyway. Well there have been many LG4 cars that run 16's 17's here, remember that here we are a second slower than sealevel.
