I have a friend that wants to race me in his 85 Z28.
It is a carbed 305 with a 5 speed. he put headers on it and full exhaust. other than that, he's stock. He told me though that he can get rubber through 4th. (may be BS)

I have an 86 IROC 305 TPI 700R-4.
G92, headers, exhaust, and a hypertech chip..
My car's running good.
Should I be confident?

well the carb will make more power up top but i think your tpi will take him on the low end so you should have a good leap on him .....just dont look back when you take off and youll have him ...i do think it will be close

Unless its an L69, I wouldn't worry about it. If its an L69, he might take you, but it'd be close.
