3.4 4th gen vs 85 Z28 3rd gen

This guy has been wanting to race me for a while. I think I've got what I need to beat him. He has a 1996 Camaro w/ the 3.4 engine. The only mod he has done is a Flowmaster muffler. I've got a 1985 Z28 w/LG69 305HO, Holley 600 carb, no egr, no smog, MSD distributor, dynomax muffler, 1" carb spacer. Will I have any problems?

I had a 3.4 liter f-body with a Catback and CAI and it was pretty slow good for mid 16s on my G-tech granted i never ran it at the track but it was pretty slow. Id say youll take this one
