bomp...bomp...bomp another one......

bites the dust.

had to go pick up some paperwork tonight. as i pass heaven (know as walmart except around here) i notice a late model green mustang gunning it by a mid 90s z28. the z has fat tires and i can see the after market exhaust. the mustang is green with fat tires blacked out windows and i can HEAR his exhaust from 3 cars back. well the z did not seem to interested so what the heck i pull up along side. at first he won't do anything so i ease away from the light and gun it a little and he nails his but has to let off for the next light.

i pass the car infront of him and pull into the "passing lane" and wait at the next light for him to pull up. lights red and he pulls up. i can't see through the blackout windows so i just wave.

light turns green and we both pull away pretty hard (i have to pull out and floor it otherwise just tire smoke) after i get the roll he is just a little ahead i can hear his exhaust and i nail the gas!!!!! yeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaawwwwwww. she tries to spin but bites good and i pull back up with his front end at my door and me pulling up. he goes to grab second and is looking at my bumper. he stays in it up to about 60 and backs out. ah yes the wonderful sensation of another kill. he NEVER saw it comming. i just love my 91 z conv.
and to the guy in the green mustang if your reading this......
no it's not a 305 anymore

hey hey!! glad to hear from you trix. thanks and Happy New Year to you and yours!!

shame is i still can't get but 32psi at the rail. one day i will solve the problem and then it will be fast

as for quarter, i can only go once. i have no roll bar and they will throw me off after the first pass. anything under 14 will send me packing so i will not go until i have it set up right.

i have out run by several car legenths cars running very low 14s or high 13s.

i still have 2.73 in rear too, yes the thought of 3.42s make my smile wider.

after the psi prolblem and the 3.42 are in i will go take my one and only pass and post the time. maybe by Easter. fingers x

oh ya, did i mention the honda S2000 i REALLY smoked, gee life is good (sometimes)

Man get a roll bar in that sucker.. yeah it'll add weight but it'll really make your chassis alot stiffer, and it'll let you run more than once... plus it really looks badass

i wouldn't mind the weight. besides i could stand to loose enough to make up for it. (middle age has it problems )

i saw one that looked nice but cannot find where to buy one like it. the bar had a wide flat look and the article said they were going to sell them but i couldn't fine it. it's been awhile so i'll have to look again. thanks for reminding me.:hail:
