9 Bolt Axle Bearing Retainer Plate
I have 9 bolt rearend on my '92 RS and today I found out that the axles wobbled. I turned out that the axle bearing reatiner plates are bent, therefore they don't press the bearngs and the seals properly against the race. I'm talking about the almost-square plates with 4 bolt holes and a center hole where the axle is thru (this plate is bolted to the diff housing and it retaines the axle-seal-and-bearing stackup in place).
Does anyone know where I can get new retainer plates?
Or if anyone is selling a pair that is in mint conditions, I would be interested.
I could straighten those plates out, but I rather get a new one......
Any help is appreciated!

OK, I was wrong
The axle wobble wasn't from the bent retainer plate (may contribute, but not the major cause). I installed everything again today with new plate (laser-cut by a local shop), new bearings, and new seals.
With the rear end on jackstands, I placed the shifter in 'D' and let the rear axle rotates. I can see that part of the axle coming out from the seal is rotating straight, but the spindle wobbled pretty bad (up and down, in and out). Oh, this is the passenger side axle by the way. So it looks like the spindle is no longer perpendicular to the axle.
Anyone else has this problem?
If you know where to get (or if you're selling) a passenger side axle for the 9-bolt unit, would you please let me know?
Thanks guys!

Yep, bent axle. When I bought my car,my pass side axle did that. Most likely from someone hitting a curb in the snow or it got hit. I'm sure some of the venders off to the right would sell you one,or go to the junkyard.

I ordered one from Hawk's Third Gen for $75. It's used, but they say it's straight. So we'll see. I'll let you know in couple days how it works after I get it installed.....
