2 iroc-z's on full throtle

Did anyone see the 2 iroc's on the show full throtle this morning. They added vortech superchargers, msd ignition, and aftermarket exhaust. They later raced them at the end of the show and the fastet run was a 13.2 at 104. They could have done alot better but they didnt do anything to the computers after adding the superchargers. Would of been nice to have seen their full potential. They sounded good though.

Yea without a tune, I bet the timing was being retarded to hell. Its a shame too, people are gonna think these are slow even with a S/C .

Are you serious people probably love these cars after last night. The Full Throttle guys always run slow times. The GN were only into the mid to high 14's (if memory serves me right). And the episode with the El Camino and the Rancharo the El Camino had a 450hp 383 with a posi and they also were only into the high 14's. Something is wrong in that show, very wrong.

Oh ya I noticed something else when they get brand new engine no one single team has broke the cam in yet.

But still it's good TV (beats the hell out of 96% of the other junk on TV)

Later, Garrett

Why? They ran the better time. Apparently they were a little better at what they did.

Actually the only thing they did better was shifting
The stupid kid couldnt shift so they told him to throw it into auto
and by chance the other guy messed up

15 hp isn't gonna make up for the 5 car lead the opponet pulled him. Manually shifting an auto is next to poinless. No wonder they got lower times. Both cars appeared to ahve full interiors, had it been me, the car woulda been gutted, running open headers and had the shiftkit instead of that 3" exhaust. It's a drag race, not a daily driver car showoff.

Don't they tune them or something? It sounds like it's a case of who can tune the best, but I've never seen the show so I don't really know.
