87' Camaro SC vs 93' Lumina Z34

heres what i've been wondering: in adition to my camaro SC i have a Lumina Z34 with the 3.4 DOHC engine (210hp, 215TQ).

what car would win in say the 1/4 mile and from a roll.

both cars are automatic, and bone stock.

Camaro has the 305 4BBL, 700r4
Lumina has the 3.4 DOHC, 4t60e

whats your thoughts?

Lumina will win easily, either way. My '95 MC Z34 with the same engine ran 15.5 @ 89. One of the car mags managed a 15.1 from a '93 Lumina Z34 with a manual trans.

What about taking both cars to the strip? You'll have to pay twice, but you'll get some real numbers (not opinions).

My friend has a stock 5-speed lumina, and it runs constant mid 15s, so theyre not too slow for a V6. I have a 91 305 TPI that runs mid 14s, and I barely beat my other buddies lumina Z34 thats modded by barely a fender. I would have to put my money on the luminas.
