If it was the new style V6 he could probably win, I think they run like 15.5's or something. Otherwise, you'll probably still beat him.

I ran one in my old 92RS. The Tibouron was a 6 speed V6 and I beat him off the line and in all other ranges. The regular Tibby's run like high to mid 16's. the GT's run low 16's/high 15's. Nothing to worry about their a complete joke.

my friend owns a 1998 4cyl auto tiburon(cai[kinda ramairish]) his is an fx and hes run his friend in a 88 firebird l03(stock 90k) many times and just pulls on him even off the line

he just raced a 95 firebird 3.4 and got about 1 car lengh behind off the line and was pulled on to about 40 and by 65 it was pretty even and he was pullin on the bird (i was in the car)

they come wth like 140/150 hp 2550lbs i believe

ive heard some of these cars are complete dogs after a getting a full tank of gas ( i dont know why) people say its fuel pressure change or somthing i have no idea but tell your buddy to fill his tank all the way up before you race

Nothing major? Hmm, a L98 doesn't even run flat 14's, much less a L03. Granted, if both cars had the same mods, such as a 75 shot, things would be different. Just stating, watch yourself on the street, anything can happen and thirdgens, unfortunately, aren't the fastest things out there. Go race him and let us know how it turns out!
