ran a MR2 turbo....... it was red and with looked like black donuts for wheels, so i dont know what to expect. i think i am gonna pull this guy.....so we catch a light

and we both take off slowly......then i hear him get on it and can tell it aint stock! LOL i was in first and smashed it and he had a nose on me thru first. i think i got out of first abit early but it wouldnt have mattered

i shift hit second,... he chirps 2nd, and then third and is pulling me good.......by 70, he had 4 lengths on me i guess.....

so was like damn! gotta find out what he is running. i try and yell over but he doesnt hear me... so whatever... i will run him again.

we go from about 60-65mph roll, a good speed for TPI but it does best at 65. i get a hit and he again, pulls me. i hung for just abit and he slowly walked away.... i shut her down by 75mph he continues to go. he again has about 4 lengths.

so again i catch up to give the thumbs up and for the hell of it, give him the 3 honks... first time i ever honked before...... we both take off even and i hang for a second and he does the same as before....... i flashed my lights to him and turned home.

i could hear the turbo and exhaust... and a loud blow off valve. so it was quick.. i estimate it at about low low 13's high 12's. it was as fast as the 30's hotrod i ran... pulled about the same.

 

Nice runs. Boosted MR2's are pretty darn quick. Sounds like you need some more mods

 

yeah i got some gears on the way here soon, and some LCA brackets. that should put me 13.7s hopefully. but still, major power mods will have to wait till i can afford it.

i got a superam base manifold, and gotta decide whether to stick with TPI or go superram. tough call, but i can build the stock motor now since it will never hold the power.. just too many miles

oh and by the way, this is not the same MR2 i posted about earlier....
