That was close-srt-4
This is a summary of the topic. A turbo srt-4 caught up to a gta in high altitude.
So very interesting.
This is a summary of the replies. Lets argue about the 1/4 mile times of a srt-4. Hey, lets argue about other srt-4 stuff and other stuff in general.
Great thread guys, i really feel like i learned something about racing.

twobirds, what's the next mod after the race with the SRT-4 Neon? Intake, torque converter, more gears, better tires, etc. ?

The next for me is a corvette servo, that dam 2-3 shift at wot is killing me. To bad we could not have had a longer race just so I could see how bad he would of over taken me. It had to have some mods.

the srt-4's run 14's stock, read the posts i explained that, i own one. they are fun little cars but just don't feel right, the fwd that is. rwd is just so much more fun to me.
i think my buddies is rated 13.9 stock, its a yellow 2004 srt....
but yea i'm the same way, Yea its sweet to have a fast car, but with a FWD car you can only do so much...i'd rather have a 300 RWHP car than a 450 horse FWD car...donuts just aren't the same in a FWD...
