Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Nothing too much yet. In the future I plan on getting a AFPR, Headers/Y pipe and Hi flow cat. Possibly a stall if I can get a shop to put it in cheap enough.

You think it's that hard? I mean, I have the time to do It, just don't know how to.

You can do the stall yourself.....When I swapped from 700r4 to TH350 I jacked the whole car up and sat it on 4 jackstands, high as it would go. Then I unbolted the driveshaft and popped it out (dont forget to get a catch can for under the tailshaft as al lyour fluid will come out.), unbolt the torque arm, unbolted the tranny mount bolt, put a jack under the tranny and dropped the crossmember off. Then I undid the 3 TC bolts on the flywheel....then unbolted those horrible 6 or so bellhousing bolts that take forever...mak sure you have about 3 6 inch extensions and a "flexible joint" piece......They are useful as hell, I put some electrical tape around mine to stiffen it up a little to hold its position. Once all the BH bolts are out, then (in ocmbination with the jack) pull the tranny away from the motor a little and slowly drop it down and pull it out. While its out, I usually replace the Front seal on the tranny, its a 2.99 piece and its what usually causes tranny leaks...
Thats not everything but tranny jobss arent hard at all, you just need time and basic tools. Tranny jacks will make this job 2x easier. You can haveit out, new seal and stall on and back in within 5 hours....i did it within 4.5 hours on my first time and no tranny jack and a run or 2 to the parts store. Good luck.
BTW, your car will run a mid 14 or so

seems kinda odd to hit 13's that easy. must be headers since it'll fall on it's face up top.

update
Well, since I started this post, I added a few parts to my list. Curious to see what i'll run now.
Catback
Good Tires
New Plugs, wires, ect
Shift Kit
recent tuneup
With these ^ mods, I ran 14.58 @ 94.8
With those mods plus these:
SLP Runners (unported)
Hypertec chip
What do you think I'll run now?

hypertech actually do anything? In the rest of the domestic tuning community, hypertech is usually a joke.
out of curiousity can you post a full slip??
I'm curious how a thirdgen would stack up against my GTP now that I've been thirdgen-less for a few years.

yea
i got hooker shorties with there y pipe
into 3 inch catback, flowmaster 80series
stock cat converter
descreen'd MAF, gutted out airbox with K/N filters, taylor wires
suspension mods.... i got adjustable panhard bar, spohn LCA's with out brackets yet, Eibach Pro kit springs, HD sway bar poly end links, and Tokico adjustable shocks
running 16x8 iroc rims with Fulda Carat Extremo tires, 245/50/zr16.
headers really woke it up
it did 13.89 but i think it can do lower 13.8's
STILL need to pick up a wonder bar, subframe connectors, bigger sway bars, and thats about all for bolt on stuff...

i think you should port out the runners and especially the stocker base to really see the improvement. you could see 14.3's at 95mph or so with those mods. the chip is considered junk by alot of people here, but some have improved a bit on them.
three things that really help TPI cars is exhaust, suspension, and higher stall converter. TPI is torque, and traction is needed to hook that up, so suspension and converter helps apply that. exhaust really opens up the car, as factory stuff sucks on flow. those 3 things make the best improvement on TPI times from bone stock

Yeah, funds are the only thing slowing me down. Well I don't think the chip did much of anything.. just a little smoother while cruising.
You guys think I should gut the air boxes? How do I do that. I noticed there is like an 1 1/2 piece of plastic right infront of the filters.
Runners, K&Ns, and a gutted airbox would really wake up the intake side (eventually I'll port the runners)
As for exhaust, I plan on getting headers and new y pipe, also a new cat. (could a clogged cat sac. performance?)
Torque converter is comming. Any brand, stall speed (im thinking 2800) you guys like? Plus, how does a stall help traction? If your launching from 2800~ rpm, wouldn't that cause tire spin like crazy?

I really liked my TCI convertor I had in my camaro.
if you feather the gas on launch you'll be able to launch better.
the biggest advantage is when you strap on some slicks. you'l be right on top of the peak of the tq curve and be able to launch harder and faster.
what's the norm for a TPI car on streettires for a 60'???
My best was a 2.01' w/ a open diff on street tires on 16" rims.

mine is on street tires and hits 1.8's 60 foots, but i do believe it has more in it. that 2800 stall helps alot
i got a Edge Racing converter, its called the street edge, and its a custom built 9.5 inch converter so its Very efficient. built to your specs too. got mine directly from them for 554 shipped to my door. alot of guys recommend getting a vigilante or whatever and not skimp out to buy a lesser cheaper converter. i agree, however Edge and Midwest converters are great mid price converters
