Axle/Gears: good question...
I had an LT1 with simliar cam, 3.23's, no nitrous. Went 13.6 on a hot humid day spinning clear to the 60ft. Definetly could have gotten high 12's on a good day with traction.

You guys are kidding right? With those mods, should be very low 12's with decent traction. With some nitrous, easy mid 11's.

I went 12.4 with a HOT cam and full emissions still on it in my 96 WS6. And the HOT cam is no where near as big as that cam.

wow thats pretty impressive for a hot cam. i guess thats about 400hp on crank which should be mid 12's or so

i know its definately gonna be a 12 second car... basically thats a miniram L98 with a big cam and slightly better heads. those combos are easy 12's lol

sweet i think with the 100 shot i would dip into the 11's then with a 383 kit that fall with a bigger cam and heads reported im assuming it would be close to bottom 11's high tens and maybe up the nitrous but i dunno im kinda iffy on upping the nitrous all in all its gonna be alot more fun 2 srive then my ****ty 305 tpi that only went 14.86 @ 97 mph

I'd say low 12s easy too. Get a 3400 stall for that cam, maybe even a 3600. I have a 224/230 cam in my "LT1" and it makes power just about what the cam advertised, 1800 to 5800. A 3000-3200 stall would be perfect for my car though. I have minor head porting and headers and 3.23s.

If i keep the car in the spring, its getting that 3200 stall with either 700r4/3.73s or T-56/4.10s. I'm looking for high 11s on motor and 10s if I spray. My car is quite a bit lighter than stock though.

SFC's
LCA's
LCA relocation brackets
Different springs (depends if you want track or street)
Shocks (application varies on use of car.....see above)
Good tires

SFC are a must. LCA's and panhard rod wouldn't hurt. With those 3 mods, I routinely cut 1.6x short times in my TTA with Nittos. That car was just too easy to launch.

With those 3 mods on the WS6, I could cut 1.7x times on Nittos.

Some go to a torque arm and relocation brackets but I didn't. Well I did have an LG Motorsports TA but it didn't do anything in drag racing. Great for brake dive and axle hop on corners though.
