Ok well I posted about this IROC a few days ago with:

-600 cfm carb (probably Edelbrock)
-world products iron heads
-1.6 roller rockers
-Edelbrock shorty headers
-3 inch flowmaster catback with gutted cat (stock 2.25 y-pipe)
-Edelbrock performer intake
-Open element air cleaner
-8.8mm Accel wires
-Accel Hei distributor cap
-Smog stuff gone
-All A/C gone except compressor just for a pulley

Can we take a 1997 Mustang GT with a 5 speed and:

-3.73 gears
-bbk headers
-offroad H-pipe
-Flowmaster catback

I think we can do it what about you?

 

Does the IROC have a cam in it? If so it should win.

 

Damn we need that cam lol, kinda sad that we cant beat a non P.I without it.

 

The Mustang is probably a mid 14s car... so id say your good!

I see the race being pretty close, the Stang has the same major mods the IROC does minus the intake, and it had a better starting point (180ish rwhp stock).

If that 305 still has the penaut cam I'd say you lose, but I would have thought it would have lost to the SRT-4 by more than it did as well so... Perhaps I'm underestimating the S/R Torquer heads...
