What do you think?

What do you think this will run in 1/4 Mile? Its a 1983 z28 pushing 350hp at the rear wheels and almost 500ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels? its got 3.42gears and a th350 tranny(just rebuilt) with shift kit.

Also how would it stand up to a civic hatch with a prelude engine and lite mods? Dont know what engine is, all i know is it came out of a prelude and suppost to be fast.

Thanks

You should trap ~110.

if you're putting down 350 rwhp you have nothing to fear from any N/A honda engine.

Do to the fact that you are guestimating your power output and don't give enough info to base your guestimation off of. I will guess that you have a mid 13 second ride.I would say that if the Civic is an N/A car then you would probably win.If it has a power adder it might get you.

It only takes 330hp rwhp to run low 12s in a fbody but thats if you have that much. What heads are you running and cam profile? Also if the civic doesn't have a turbo why even bother ask? Does it have a 250 shot or something?

The Civic will be no problem for you. It's got an H22 or H23.

You are right about what could be done with 330 rwhp in an optimized set up.Usually when people don't really know what they have they end up dissapointed when they finally get it to the track.A full weight street camaro with the average hotrodded 350 3.42 gears and a th350 would most likely run somewhere in the 13's.

A turboed 355 is only making 350 rwhp? My friends stock bottem end, stock cam, stock heads (milled, bigger valves, and a great valve job), Explorer intake and bolt on 5.0 made 310 rwhp...

Id find the missing power in the car, and then go out there and not have to worry about many cars!

with 500 lb'ft of torque, I would think that its in a low rpm, so he is gonna spin a lot. I guess low low 14's or mid to high 13's.

All he needs is some traction.
