1) With out going too far off topic....Who the HELL wears spurs to work? You're a fashion *****. You have to wrangle all those Hondas you work on?

2) I never once said that FWD was better, it's not, in anyway, ever. You guys were all just defensive when I pointed out which cars dominate Auto Cross events.

Just because a stealership charges $12 for something doesn't mean that's the market price. Your arguments are weak.

NKG plugs from honda cost $12 through Rusty Wallace Honda. Call and ask, their number is 865-938-4222.
I have never heard of $12 plugs. You running iridium in the engines or something? Idk, I use $6 plugs. but they usually only last a few hundred miles.

That's just ridiculous.

Even if you had posted a pic of something more intimidating like a gun or knife, it would be equally nerdy. But I must say, be in it real life or over an F-body messageboard, you just don't threaten someone with a cowboy boot. It's just silly.

Yea, I am part-time commision at Nuts and Bolts auto repair, it pays okay. Look up in the book how long a job should take, multiply the time (motor swap for a pre emmision car (4 hours), multiply that by my $18/hr wage, and bingo..

I am happy with it, I am also self employed as a farrier and Horse trainer. I ride bulls at the local rodeos for extra cash when they are in town. Although the most recient time I competed, my medical bills came to more than what I made (recracked 2 of the ribs I had from a auto accident I had about 1 1/2 months ago).

I have some great videos of me getting thrown, lol.

haha, thanks.. I don't guess it's hard to tell I am from and grew up in Hidalgo Co. Texas huh?

Why'd I move from such beautiful country before anybody ask me. 1.) English speaking people are the minority being a county that boarders mexico. 2.) Summer time is usually hovering around 110* with about 70% humidity. Heat index is around 140* on a normal day. It's torture trying to work in that.

1.) I'll tell you what! I just came in from riding two horses. I havn't been to the shop today seeing it's Wed, and I go to church.

2.) Why would you point it out if you didn't believe it? And once again, you were wrong, because as I stated earlier; the last auto x event I attended a 1999 Mustang Cobra placed first by more than a full second over the second place Chevrolt Corvette Zo6, and the third place Mazda Miata (all of which are RWD).

3.) You sir are correct here, but when a costumer request all parts be purchased from Honda, then we don't really have a ****ing choice now do we??

Admit it stu, you LOST the argument.

last few auto-x events I have been to where dominated by a stock class neon. yes stock. wasn't even a SRT-4. this includes beat multiple cars including some 914,911,NSX,rx7's, a ls1 firebird, vettes of various years, a porsche boxter s, don't forget the 70's nova but that doesn't count for much, and so forth.

most the time I go it is the FWD cars typicly those little neons that are putting the hurt on everyone else.

about the spark plugs gee I think that I have seen regular chevy plugs go for quite a bit also. just cause they buy them at that price doesn't mean that is smart or what you should base the car on. it just means that guy is a retard like I could go out and pay 8 bucks for the SAME EXACT plugs I get at napa. hell I know where I can get plugs for 30 bucks a pop. does that now mean you should say all plugs for the rx7 are $30?

as far as stu's comments maybe they are inspired from people who say FWD can't do anything at all. his comments to me don't say that FWD is better but rather hey just maybe fwd might be able to actually have some performance not just oh hey fwd is better then anything else out there

urbanhunter awd in a way kinda not the greatest. it's more forgiving true but then again it still has aspects that are not that great. more weight, prone to understeer

you might want to do some research on aerodynamics, lift and so forth. might learn something that could show you a few interesting ideas. a spoiler might lower drag. fwd cars might be able to use a wing on the rear to get grip for the rear wheels as well. and who knows what else.

you have till 1700 MST on friday

The only thing I can hand to honda is boy can they rev like nothing. My buddie takes his up to 7800 rpms with just bolt-ons. But the other side of me says with a 1.72:1 rod to stroke ratio my 350 could rev to 8k all day too.

I work as a mechanic (Doing stock motor swaps) part time and I have worked on enough Hondas and other FWD imports to know I never want to own one. Seeng these people pay $35 for a rear main seal, $25 for valve cover gaskets, $12 spark plugs, the list goes on and on.

And the last time I checked at the local auto X the fastest car there ran a 41.22 and it was a 99 Mustang Cobra.
you do know that it isn't just rod/stroke ratio that says how far a motor can rev right?there is quite a bit more to it then that. valvetrain being one of the more important ones.

vtec itself is a very nice design allowing one to get the best of both worlds. performance and economy. sure it might be on some fairly slow car to start with but the idea itself is very good. would be nice if they could find a way to use it on some larger motors

Not to turn this into a religious debate, but do us churchgoers a favor. Next time you tell everyone you go to church, try not to use profanity, in the same post. Thank you. That is all.

Haha. Anyway, I'm home from work and all out of steam. To be honest I'm actually interested to hear about Camaro_Kids horse training business (not being sarcastic) but that's for a different time and place.
