LO3 vs VR4
yea well this weekend i went out and raced a VR4 which i would say was stock im guessing with the 6 speed tranny. my car has 130 shot on nitrous, new tires, catback, hollow cat, open element.
last night we started from a 40 mph roll and jumped at the same time i spun a tiny bit and jumped ahead by one car by 110 i was ahead by about 2 cars.
next race we raced from a dig. i brake boosted the car and launched then hit the nitrous a second later and had major wheel hope and spin then let off until i got traction then hit it again while the vr4s awd just put it 1.5 cars ahead and it stayed that way until 70ish. i wouldve won with traction i gotta learn how i can launch with the nitrous now still learning.

Reading your posts is like listening to my kids after 2 candy bars.Fast and incoherant.Use some more periods and slow down a bit.As far as using the N.O.S to much it's your car blow it up if you wish.

It isn't that anyone is trying to disrespect you, just know that you can't go against the bare facts that an LO3 2 BOLT MAIN will not endure that abuse for long. It is hard enough to spray a 100 shot on a built block, and do it right, let alone on a 20 year old motor never designed for it.
Maybe buy a 350?

Well bud I did my research and I had nitrous in my summit cart when I decided I want my engine to last. You cant tell me that a 1992 engine can handle 130 shot but for so long. I was going to run a 50 or 75 shot, but 130 is just a bit on a 2 bolt main 305 ya know. You dont ever see me come out and verbally attack people, I was just stating what every other TBI member told me when I wanted nitrous.
