86Z28 V 90 Fox

This race took place last july before I swapped engines
My friend's car:90 Mustang ex-cop, 5.0 5-speed, notchback, 3.08 rear, headers, straight pipes, aftermarket clutch, otherwise stock.

Mine: 86 Z28 TPI 305 auto, K&N's, gutted airbox's, TB bypass, no cat, aftermarket muffler, 3.23's, otherwise stock.

We raced 2 times from a stop to about 85mph. First race, he said he spun off the line and I have about 2-3 car lengths on him at 85.

2nd race, he heats up his tires first, and hooks up. I still get him out of the hole by a lot, then he slowly gains on me and is even with me when we let off at 85.

It was a good race, I'm pleased with how my 305 performed during it's last day in my car, thought it could have been ugly for me.
