There is a local guy who I met off these forums that drives an 82 Trans am. He's got a 305 crossfire.
We are going to race tonight around midnight.
I set up a poll, I would love for you guys to participate in it

No, im sitting at his house right now bull'ing it up with him. We took turns driving each others car. I was totally not use to his power steering and his brakes make the car cut to the left which tripped me out. Also, if you gun his car, it REALLY chokes up and then all of a sudden goes. His body is in a lot better condition than mine though.

Needless to say, you guys know the outcome.
Pretty cool though, made a new friend because of these forums.
On the way to his house, I raced my first 4.6 Mustang. I didnt know those cars were so slow
Then on the way home, there was a 5.0 mustang that got next to me pretty quickly, I threw a couple revs and took off and he didnt do anything.. I laughed.
Tonight was pretty fun.

yeah, well you know better luck next time man, sometimes these things happen, maybe you just need to fix that exhaust leak
no really though, it was fun, i enjoy speeding really really fast, but every time i hit 80mph i had to slow down because well, that was seriously risky, but you must have hit 100

Yeah ive hit those speeds before, but only on empty freeways in the wee hours of the morning. Wouldnt think about doing it any other time. Love the high speed stability of camaros for sure. Just tapin the wheel on a light import above 50mph makes me feel like im gonna role. Nothing like feeling those large tires grip the road like nothing else.

I agree 100% Rossi, I have a road here by me that is about 5-6 miles long. It is a new road with 4 lanes + a turn lane (5 lanes total). It has long straight aways and long sweeping turns....not the short sharp turns. Sometimes if I want to just get a ruch or show someone how good my car handles I will go down that road and I will average around 130 mph, around all turns and 145-150ish on the straights.....man I love that road, and as funny as it may sound......after I get home I feel so relaxed....like I just go tmy fix or something......lol. Nothing like going through the turns and knowing that the car is sticking to the road and the tires are doing there job.....makes me wish I was a NASCAR driver, which I have often thought of doing......lol. And before anyone tries to bark at my comment....I do not have stock suspension, it is all spohn and all new.....so it holds really really good.
