First kill of 07

Well we started getting some good weather around here (72 degrees)

So i decided to get the car out and take it for a spin,

Well I was cruizin around then spotted this mid late 90's honda civic

well this thing comes flying up beside me and asked if I wanted to run em and so I was like sure y not.

We go from a stop and I spank him by 8 and he said missed a gear. So we do it again from a stop and it was by about 5. And I was like wow that is pretty quick for a civic can I see under the hood.

1.6 v-tec and a Jackson racing supercharger 5-7 psi.

I was supprised I beat em by so much with just

305 tpi
auto, trans go shift kit, corvette servo
headers
flowmaster
1.6 roller rockers
ram air intake
super chip

Plus my 2.73 gears are still in the car. ( I have 3.73 in my backseat now getting ready to go in about a week.

Nothing special just thought i would share.

There must something wrong with that car, I had a guy pulling me pretty good when I had my SVT Contour (15.2, 90mph traps), he was in a Civic Sedan w/ a Jackson Supercharger, and 2 other people in the car. It was pretty quick. I'll be willing to be he wasn't tuned very well. From a dig it might be a good race, but from a roll, I have a hard time seeing a mildly modded 305 staying with the car you described.

But, a kill is a kill, enjoy it. I can't wait to get mine out, just another few weeks.

Re: First kill of 07

I say it is possible the 1.6 motor depending on which one is a POS.
Also the motor could be really tired.
The Import scene has been around long enough that could have been on there for a while and the motor is losing compression....

A kill is a kill though good work..
