91 rs vs. focus
my bros friend wants to run with me. he has one of those hatch back focuses. its a 5 speed. i have a 91 rs with a 305tbi. mines an auto. itll probably be and 1/8 mile on the street. i've got him right?

im not sure what a run-of-the-mill focus runs (i believe the SVT version is a mid - low 15 sec car), but if your car is stock and driven right it should do low 16s

Both are slow as heck...
The 1.3 ltr engine though is pretty peppy and light...
Off the line you are going to either make or break the race though
FWD is impossible to hook up

The 1.3 ltr is not sold in the US. There two duratec motors a 2.0 and a 2.3 in the 2004-to present with about 150hp for the 2.3. Earlier ford focuses came with either the 2.0 split port with 110hp or the 2.0 zetec with a 130 hp. The svt focus had the most with 170 and a six speed. ( I owned one, and it was probably the nicest car I have ever owned.)
