theres this kid at work who has an 06 Tiburon GT auto v6 and ive been trying to get him to race me for the last month. still havent been able to talk him into it yet. but who do you think would win. me: 91 firebird L03 auto w/ open element. him: bone stock 06 Tiburon GT v6.

 

since you're both pretty stock, probably the tiburon.

 

headers, exhaust, shiftkit, stall, good tune and some gears.. just to be on the safe side.. then id say u win.

really? you dont even think it will be close. i know they both have similar numbers when it comes to hp and weight, with the tiburon having a slight advantage in both. but i kill that car when it comes to torque.

 

I think it would be pretty close as the Tiburon is a mid to high 15 second car in stock trim. Maybe mid/low 15s with a good driver but being a front driver it will be trickier to launch.

Just run him and let us know what happens.
