LO3 bird VS v6 4thgen

So im on the way to get some smokes and beer late last night, pull out of my driveway and look in my rearview and see some 4thgen bird headlights. I let him pull up, and it looks like an 01 and up bird, 17in rims i figure it has a LS1, till he passes by, 2 crhome straight pipes but the sound isnt right, its a v6. so i pull up even and throw him a rev, he throws one right back it's on. were cruisin at 30 im in third. he honks once twice, on the third i drop her into second and smash the gas. shifting into 3rd i got half a car on him, by 4th its 2cars, i lift off at 80, flash the win lights and get ready to turn around (passed the store already) he throws up a peace sighn as he cruises past, good times.

Pretty sure it was an auto, i would assume a manual would have been able to keep up a bit better, my car is pretty loud, i could not hear him shifting.

3.8 autos are upper mid 15 second cars and the manuals are lower mid 15 second cars. what ever one you raced you did pretty good for an lo3.
