Well last night i raced my friends auto lt1 97 trans am after a few bad races he kept jumping we finally got a good one in 10mph roll he did spin at all i spun most of first and i hooked good once i hit second he stayed ahead of me by a car for a little while by the time we got till the end i got him by about a bumper my mods are in the signature its a 89 iroc 350 tpi converted to carb stock heads and cam. My question is does this sound about right i kno hes putting out stock to stock about 55 more flywheel hp then me only mos he has is cold air intake i think from the factory he has 3.23 gears.

 

youre sig says you ran high 13s with your current combo correct? thats what a well tuned, stock LT1 fbody should run so id say the race went as expected

 

yes that is correct.

 

Sounds about right. My parents 96 Comp TA ran 13.7 when it was completely stock. That was an A4 with 3.23 gears.
