I got beat from the light by a 4th gen firebird today. I had him by a car length till I hit second, and the stupid steep gearing on the 700 r4 lost me 2 car lengths. his car looked stock but it couldnt have been, LOL. A few hours later, a guy in a convertible early 00's rustang tried to race me. I got him good, lol. I have been beat by a 500 hp mercedes, a cobra GT, and that firebird so far. won all the rest. LOL. My car screams race me, and I cant resist, so sue me lol. grrrr. Imma go check timing and carb tommorrow. Might be a little off. I need more power! And a 6 speed vette transmission!

Sorry!!!! Its a 1986 z28, with a 3970010 block, torquer II intake, edelbrock carb, long tube headers, custom y pipe and flowmaster. the engine is supposed to be bored to 355, ported heads and high compression, with a mild cam. Fiberglass hood, Weld front wheels,... it got hit by some illegals with no insurance a few weeks ago but im having the body fixed in about 2 weeks. Still runs great tho! I bought the car at a car lot and had to have the exhaust made, and I will be doing all the work to the car myself except painting and frame work from the wreck. It got the front right corner. I have owned around 250 cars before, and worked on them all myself. Everything from tranny swaps to engine rebuilds. This by far, is my favorite out of all of them so far

I have all the parts just waiting. I should have most of the 750 bucks that maaco wants to do the frame work and paint by this weekend, or next at the latest. I still drive it everyday, and I took a permanent marker and wrote on the crunched fender "Not my fault, use you BLINKER!" Ive got quite a few laughs from that!
