I was talking to by boss about racing at work on day and a customer who was listening in said he would race me. But he was very agressive when he asked me to race. i looked outside and saw he had the car with him. so i told him sure lets do it right now. but he backed out and told be he can't do it right now. {no reason given} he asked what my mods are so i told him and then when i asked him he would not say. All he repeated was he takes down gto's. I think he's blowing smoke out is A-- what do you think? he is a local customer punk kid who looks like he's 16 years old. I just wanted to shut him up and not look stupid in front of my boss. Here are my mods. headers, gmmg exhaust system, high flow cat catco 9118, pro build 700r4 with vette servo and steel clutch and bands, transgo shift kit, drag radials, all new ignition system msd, cold air intake with air foil.

A Scion TC man!!! I got a 2006 Nissan Sentra SER spec V with a nismo complete kit and i blow the door of them.... he might get you on the launch but he's done after that...

Man stock those things push 160 with the trd option supercharger they push 200hp and 185ft/lbs. They also weigh in at 2900lbs manual and 3000 automatic. Im a mechanic ive driven a few of the customers cars and they handle nicely they are sporty but theres no way stock that they will keep up, no chance even with the TRD package. Now there are 2 younger kids in my town who have boosted scions who can give allot of cars a run for their money. Ive met one of them hes cracking 300 to the wheels at 12psi. Hes made the car a little lighter with seats, CF hood/trunk and fenders. If im not mistaken hes got an LSD as well. Its quick Ill admit it. Out of the hundreds Ive seen in my area there are only these two that Ive seen modified enough to run with our cars. So the odds are hes just talking BS and has no chance find him on the road and run him.

ok that kinda irrelevant to even state, it CLEARLY states that his car is a Formula with the 5.7 TPI motor, And ALSO a V6 camaro could pull a TC out of the hole with DR's and a loaded converter, hell a V6 on street tires would jump ahead by a little bit. Maybe not by much but some. TC's are pretty slow. I raced one with my old L03 and i pulled a length on him from the start then he reeled me in and took half a car to about 80mph before we shut down. From a 60mph roll he would slowly walk me.
The famous L03/700r4/2.73's combo< best watch out!
TC's are nothing to worry about, ESPECIALLY with the 350TPI with 3.73's. You'll pull him so hard out of the hole he will shut down early and give excuses! haha

Im not sure of all the mods of the ones ive run across but the non turbos are slugs and even the turbo ones ive run are nothing special.Hell my set ups nothing special,but alot of younger kids see an old Iroc with faded paint and are positive they can beat it.Have yet to run a import on the street that could.My day may come but im cool with that.If you beat me you beat me.Cant win them all.

I put a car on one of those in my G6 GT daily driver(Not fast at all)so I would think that you would kill it.

Ive race 1. Beat him easy like 4 times in a row. But 2 cars or so on him every time. Even let him get da jump on me the last run and still walked him. U shouldnt worry espically with a 350 and 3.73 gears. Wut ever happens tho be safe about it.

i made some AZN kid in a trd scion tc look stupid in my mostly stock 02 accord lx vtec. i think he just couldnt drive though cause in evry right i should have lost. so i feel your car (and mine since they are pretty similar cept for gearing) would eat him alive then leave a toyota smudge on the road.
