Fun times against a lifted turbo diesel

So a local high school kid that has loaded parents who likes to run his mouth challenged me to a little race for a Bill. Here are some details , his truck is a 2002 F-350 Turbo diesel. Go fast parts are : Bully dog programmer, full 6in MRB (I think thats what it is) exhaust , injectors , fuel pump , built trans and converter , some crap related to the turbo , and a couple other random parts. Now what makes his truck real fast is the foot and a half lift , Huge swampers on black dick cepecks (to match the black truck of course), and a bunch of green LEDed gauges that match the monster sticker on the back window .

(excuse me if I got any of those diesel parts wrong , not really into that so I am a little ignorant when it comes to the technical stuff. And my parents couldnt afford to get me a $25,000 truck when i was 16 )

My car , stock . Oh wait I lied , it has a MSD coil and no belt on the air pump. Otherwise stock.

We lined up on some country road as he hung out the window talking smack . While I sat there with a grin on my face ( secretly a little nervous on how this one might play out) On the third honk we went. He having 4x4 jumped ahead while I spun for about 2 years. Then as I cought traction getting thrown (slightly, well barley) into my seat , my car slammed and chirped the tires into second and the chase was on , he was about 2 or 3 cars ahead by now. Took a couple seconds to catch up but I finally did to then cross our make shift finish line doing about a buck 20, about 3 cars ahead of him .

It was a cool race . I figured I would win but man did he give me a run for my money in that tank of a ford. Oh , at the end he got all screamy and ***-hurt about how I must have a big block or hidden turbo or something. Needless to say I never got my money .

Ya he did . The kid is actually one of my very good friends buddy . He has been there when the only part still on the car was the motor . He knew exactly what I had.
