not sure this is tech. might be better on the racing board or the power adder board. read the sigs and you'll get a good idea of what times people run with what mods.

You might want to define your question a little more. Who has the fastest car or who has the fastest street legal daily driver car. Just because you have a 10 or 11 second car doesn't mean it's also a daily driver although there are a few out there. Who has the fastest naturally asperated car, supercharger, NOS, V6, V8 etc. You need something to compare with. A NOS V6 could probably beat a stock V8 but is that a good comparison? A 3000 pound race car is faster than a 3800 pound street car with the same engine.

I think the question should be, "who has the fastest stock based engine fbody"

Afterall, the majority of our cars came with 305s and 350s. Any fool can swap in a bigger motor and get hp. I want to see what people have done with the FACTORY EQUIPPED motors. C'mon guys, if the ricers are hitting single digit ets on stock based engines, I think we should be able to as well.

------------------
91 Formula 1LE 1 of 46
305 TPI 5speed
1LE/G92/WS6

Paxton SN92 supercharger(SN93 upgrade), Ford SVO 24#injectors, Crane AFPR,SLP airfoil, ported/polished plenum, March alt. pulley,Crane Gold 1.6rrs,MSD coil,MSD6AL (5200rpm limit),Holley 9mm wires,Ac delco R43ts plugs,custom chip,Bosch O2sensor,SLP 1 5/8" headers,SLP catback,shortened shifter,3:73s w/Auburn posi,170* t-stat,JET 195* fan switch, Macewen white face gauges, Autometer gauges, Zoom hi-performance clutch.

idrag2,that seems awfully fast for a TBI based 305 on stock cam and heads. Are the cam and heads stock? I assume so because I didn't see anything in your list.

this was on street tires, and I have done a little more tuning to it since then. Also, I drive it every day. I thought I'd never get used to 500hp, but driving it everyday, I have. Also, anyone who wants to make donations to my gas fund, feel free! haha

i'm probably the fastest 2.8L in St.Louis, maybe not, but most likely the fastest 2.8L firebird.

it's a 2.8L bored to 3.0L, the heads have a valve job done to em too, freshly rebuilt tranny (700R4) with corvette servo and shift kit (i'll have to see what brand the guys through in there again) anywhoot, not that anyone cares about a 2.8L/3.0L but hey, i like it..
