me vs chevelle on NOS

There is this guy that is the "king of the hill" at the local street races. He runs 13.0 or so on the motor but races with a 150shot of NOS. I have recently got new tires on the car (so now it hooks, and they are shorter so it helps the gear ratio). I know it will be close, but what do you guys think? My best time at the strip is below, keep in mind that it spun so hard when I hit second on this pass, I had to get out of it. Thanks Guys

If I were u I'd invest in a set of ET streets and some suspension work. Your car mph is good, it should go mid 11s if u can hook and get a good 60ft. My buddys 70 Chevelle goes 11.60 @ 115 with a 1.65 60ft.

It's what use when there too stupid to build a real engine.
Ok now that thats said .
The chevell will eat you up bad, if he's on the bottle. That crap is killer power although "cheap hp". off the line I would say you would be ahead untill he hits the swich. See if he will race you W/O NOS that would only be fair.

Really... Then what's a supercharger? They do the same thing. And most of the people I know with blowers popped their motors last year, while everyone that I know with N2O, including me, is still running.

Well, hmm blowers are always producing hp ..they don't need to be activated for hp and won't run out after a few seconds like NOS. You don't need to go get a bottle refilled . It's street legal unlike NOS. Shall I go on?

Nos is 50 state legal, but some local laws prohibit it's use on street drivin aplications unlike "supers&turbos".

If you have a blower your not considered to be naturaly asperated.If you have nos your not considered to be naturaly asperated.So what is the differance?There is no damn differance if you ask me.I put it on my 305 to help me out because it is'nt eazy to build a 305 and make it real fast.Besides what ever you put on your motor to make it faster makes no differance what it is.A power adder is a power adder.You do'nt say to someone that beats you in a race hey man your cam is bigger than mine thats not fair.All is fair in the race world anything goes.

I will let you guys know the results, Call me an optimist, but since he is a 13sec car off the bottle and only running a 150shot...If I get it to hook good, I think I might be able to get close...there are alot of if's in there though!

Heck, to begin ith that must not be a very big hill. He's "king of the hill" with a 13.0 car?

Old saying...."If your not doing 12's on motor, your not ready for NOS"

I agree NOS is a great power adder, but if he's 13.0's only.....he's not that fast as is.
