wednesday on my way home from the track i was messing around with a new SS in traffic. then we come up to a light and line up, he was revvin up and totally ready to go. then the light changes and he dissapears behind me. when i got near home blackbird305, he was following me home, said theat the kid started to go then stopped when he saw my launch. why do people do this???
if you are gonna go around and front liek you've got something be ready to lay your s**t out on the line.

LOL yeah I hear you man. Some BMW M3 was riding my *** for a few miles, we get to a red light with open road ahead of us. He pulls out from behind me and gets next to me at the light. We both had pole position with no one in front of us. I know that M3 would technicly whoop on my 15.01 stock Auto 305 TPI, but hell, I'm not one to back down. The light turns green and my *** is gone, and he just rolls off. So I let off it after I'm like a 1/8mile ahead of him. Then he decides to go after I'm just coasting. He come by me doing like 90, and I just shook my head.

 

I was revving my engine at a stoplight next to a brand new 2001 ranger XLT a few weeks ago. I rev my engine frequently just for the fun of it- sorta a habit. But yeah I didnt want to race But he took off the line, and I didnt, but I caught up with him in no time flat. Then the next light i dusted him.

 

The other night me and importsRsloth was out and about layin marks on the pavement when we came to a light next to us was a almost new stang GT 4.6 import gave it a tap the stang noticed but kept lookin forward we didnt think he wanted anything but once that light went green the stang got on it import launched like a raped ape and was on his a$$ and gaining we got about bumbper to bumper then the stang slowed up...that was just not cool of the stang it was almost as **** as the ***** fly bye

 

I usually get people revving at me from the opposite lane, but if i pull up beside them later on, they want nothing to do with racing me. wtf!?
I also had a S10 w/ 350 want to race me, but i got an awesome launch and he just backed right off. LAME

 

Umm..import is a 2.8...the 4.6 u were mentioning would absolutely DESTROY the 2.8... i know look at my sig

Well actually i have the 5.0 5spd combo, mods are LPE Headers, 3" high flow Catco, Hooker catback, and ported plenum/runners.
