Alright, so I was on icq last night and a friend from work icq's me and says lets race. I was like alright what you got. He says "my plymoth laser(block mods) can take your camaro anyday. I was laughing really hard he says whats so funny, i said you just said laser, take, and camaro in the same sentence, then he goes to say :"last quarter time with out nos was 10.47@147" im no rocket scientist, but is this possible??? I don't think so. I'm still gonna race him.

very much possible. my bro is intothe DSM thing, and i can tell you from working on them that they can haul a$$.
all it takes is an adjustable boost controller, a bigger turbo, upgraded fuel pump and pressure regulator,a full exhaust, and a front ,mount intercoller and they will run way into the 12's.
figure you do a little work to the head and intake and some custom programming and you should be able to run some sick numbers.

But i saw him drive away, and i know he can't pull 10's. His cxar is also puffing blue smoke. His car has about 130k on it, and he tried racing a cobra and got his *** handed to him.

If he got his *** handed to him by a (stock I assume) Cobra hes in tyhe mid 14's at best cause the new Cobras are high 13's to low 14's cars. I would still be worried though, your car prolly runs low 16's maybe high 15's right? Anyways race him and find out

 

um..in a laser don't know about that but who knows I'm not an expert.

Man what the FU(K IS YOUR PROBLEM?. But I have seen a FWD Plymouth Laser punched out to accept chevy 454 pistons, and a t3 turbo with nitro. He could run mid 9's easy without the juice till halfway down the track.
